OVERVIEW

In 2014 we partnered with IBM on the Chief Data Officer Strategy Summit. The key requirement at the time was to support IBM in cementing themselves as thought leaders with Chief Data Officers and de-facto titles at medium to large scale enterprises. event We have continued to build on the success of this event with IBM which has resulted in 8 events in Boston and San-Francisco each. Since its inception the event has grown in size and scope, what started as a 70-person event now welcomes 130+ attendees per event. The event has also expanded to welcome Chief Analytics Officers, Chief Artificial Intelligence Officers, Chief Digital Officers and addition job titles of similar mission and seniority.

PROGRAM CREATION

Based on IBM’s key requirements, we undertook an extensive research project with our network of senior data leaders, enabling us to craft an engaging and interactive agenda whilst aligning with IBM’s key messaging. Acquiring industry leading and thought-provoking speakers was essential to the success of the event. Through our speaker acquisition campaign, we acquired cutting edge data and analytics practitioners, agreed by IBM, who came to share their knowledge, network and learn in a collaborative format. IBM were able also to position themselves as industry experts within the agenda by bringing their own thought-leaders to the event.

EVENT MARKETING

Through a mixture of personalised event invites and content-driven marketing we engage with the most senior data and analytics professionals, leading to a high level of event registrations. Our campaign consists of hyper-personalized email marketing, coupled with a re-targeting, social, PPC and telephone campaign. Key to the campaign was the continual communication and value provided to our attendees in the lead up to the event through the release of a series of webinars and articles thematically linked to the event agenda. Since its inception we have welcomed over 1,000 attendees from some of the world's leading brands and data innovators.

ONSITE EXPERIENCE

Our dedicated, experienced and talented operations team managed all aspects of the onsite experience from the venue, to the delegates communication to the speaker on-boarding programme. Our team created a friendly, vibrant on-site experience, which led to an engaged audience. This full-scale management allowed IBM to network and cultivate new relationships throughout the event. A variety of discussion formats, panels and interactive learning sessions created an informal environment for attendees to network, learn and share ideas.
